Introduction

Welcome to Century Sealed (the "Site" or "Service"), operated by Century Sealed LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), a Utah limited liability company. Our platform enables users to create secure digital time capsules to preserve memories and collaborate on or support future-focused projects. By accessing or using our Site and Services, you agree to these Terms of Service.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age or the age of majority in your jurisdiction to use the Service.

User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. Notify us immediately at support@centurysealed.com of any unauthorized access.

User Content and Uploaded Images

• You retain ownership of any content you upload, including images, photos, messages, captions, and other materials ("User Content").
• By uploading User Content, you grant Century Sealed LLC a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable, and transferable license to host, store, reproduce, display, transmit, and distribute your content as necessary to provide the Service, including sealing it in time capsules and releasing it at the designated time.
• You represent and warrant that:
  • You own or have all necessary rights, consents, and permissions to upload and share the User Content (including any people appearing in images).
  • Your User Content does not contain child sexual abuse material, illegal content, hate speech, harassment, explicit adult material (unless clearly marked and compliant with our policies), copyrighted material without authorization, or anything that violates applicable laws.
  • Images must be appropriate for long-term archival.
• We may use automated tools and/or human review to screen uploaded images for prohibited content. We reserve the right to reject or remove any image or content that violates these Terms, in our sole discretion.
• Once sealed, removal or modification of content may be limited due to the design of the Service.

Projects, Funding, and Contributions

• Users may submit project ideas and make voluntary financial contributions ("donations" or "support").
• Important Disclosures: Century Sealed LLC is not a financial institution, bank, investment platform, broker-dealer, or non-profit organization. We do not provide investment advice, manage funds on a fiduciary basis, solicit charitable donations, or guarantee project outcomes. All contributions are voluntary and made at your own risk.
• We facilitate connections between users and projects but bear no responsibility for how funds are used by project teams or whether projects are completed.

Payments and Processing

All payments on the Service are processed by Stripe, a third-party payment processor. Century Sealed LLC does not store your full credit card information. By making a payment, you agree to Stripe's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, available at stripe.com.

No Refunds Policy

All payments and contributions made through the Service are final and non-refundable for any reason. This includes, but is not limited to, changes of mind, unused features, capsule cancellations, or project non-performance. By making a contribution or payment, you agree that no refunds will be issued at any time.

Intellectual Property

The Service, its design, logos, and technology are owned by Century Sealed LLC. You may not copy, modify, or scrape the Site without permission.

Cooperation with Law Enforcement

We fully cooperate with law enforcement agencies, courts, and regulatory authorities as required or permitted by law. This includes responding to valid subpoenas, court orders, warrants, or other legal requests for User Content, account information, or other data. You acknowledge and agree that we may disclose your information or User Content (including images) without notice to you when we believe in good faith that such disclosure is necessary to comply with legal obligations, protect the rights or safety of others, or investigate violations of these Terms or applicable law.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms. You may request deletion of your account, but sealed capsules and associated images may persist according to their timelines and our legal obligations.

Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "AS IS." To the fullest extent permitted by Utah law, we disclaim all warranties. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages. Our total liability shall not exceed the amounts you paid to us (if any) in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Utah.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
